The Entertainment Center was designed to be the hub of the living space and provide an elegant backdrop when entertaining guests. The solid African Wenge construction allows for the flowing details that are showcased in the bi-folding doors. All the curved elements in the doors are bent. This means nothing is cut from a solid piece but curved to allow the grain to flow organically unbroken around its facade adding, strength and rigidity to these otherwise delicate-looking doors. Taking attention to detail and craftsmanship even further, the compound bent intertwining arches in each door are bent in both planes giving the entire facade a uniform smooth transition as it flows around from one side to the other and from top to bottom. Each door is backdropped with handmade rice paper protected between Lexan panels that bring a texture and high contrast to the piece allowing for all the elements to stand out individually. Further enhancing the depth and texture of the rice paper, the doors are all backlit to add a warm glow and welcoming atmosphere.
The Entertainment Center has three separate sections. The left and right-side sections are designed for display and storage. On each side three 1/4, round glass shelves fit the space perfectly allowing the automatic lighting to pass through and illuminate the area and all the alternating grained solid Wenge panel walls.
Moving to the center set of bi-fold doors they open up to reveal the heart of this piece. With enough room to comfortably fit a 65 inch+ flatscreen television, it also provides storage in a discreet cabinet below with solid Wenge door panels with alternating grain patterns that house the Zebrawood drawers which are accented by the Zebrawood legs and inlay on the outside to balance out the piece with another layer of color and texture.
